Frequently Asked Questions

What should my child wear?

Great Question! We ask that all athletes wear athletic clothes for their training sessions. Tight-fitting clothes work best as our athletes will spend lots of time being upside down! Girls are recommended to wear leos if they have them; boys to wear above the knee shorts and close-fitting shirts or compressions shirts.
All athletes must also wear socks or grip socks while jumping on the trampolines. All athletes with long hair must have their hair safely held back to keep their line of sight clear.

Can my child compete?

Thank you for the question! We work hard to build a gym atmosphere that encourages everyone to reach for the stars and become all that they can be. While the recreational classes are a great place to do that for many kids, competition team is a more advanced track for gymnasts to hone skills their skills and progress with a tight community. Our team is home to state, national, and international champions!!

Success looks different for everyone—from building skills to building confidence to building life-long friendships; Therefore, we do not require all athletes to join the competition team. However, athletes who do choose to join the team will be expected to work hard to represent themselves and their team to the best of their ability in competition.

What age is best to start my child in gymnastics?

The best time to start your child in gymnastics is now! For kids ages two years old and up, success is possible for every athlete in our gym. Coach Nick didn't start until he was 12 years old and became a national champion by 16; champions come in all shapes, ages, and hair styles!

We teach gymnastics safely and progressivly to all athletes based on their individual needs. Therefore, we are just as happy to help a 5 year old athlete learn a cartwheel as we are a 15 year old athete or a 35 year old athlete!

Do you prorate classes?

We love meeting new friends and having new athletes in our classes! When athletes enroll half way through the month, we are happy to prorate their first month's tuition. However, we do not prorate tuition when athletes miss classes. In these cases, we offer one make up class each month.
